It’s extremely simple and easy to follow. Just one look and you’ll know how to do it. The whole process takes 15 steps and about 5 minutes to complete. If everything goes smoothly, you can receive the certificate within 1 day.

Step 7: Prepare Your Identity Documents (Must Meet the 100-Point Requirement)
Common recommended combinations are listed below to help you quickly reach the required points:

Passport (70 points) + Driver’s Licence (40 points)
Passport (70 points) + Australian Student ID (40 points)
Passport (70 points) + Bank Card (front photo) (20 points) + Bank Statement (20 points)
Passport (70 points) + Notarised Birth Certificate (20 points) + Translated Chinese ID Card (20 points)
Notes:
- Documents from Category 1 and Category 2 can be freely combined, as long as the total reaches 100 points.
- However, at least one document from Category 1 must be included. If documents from Category 1 already total 100 points, documents from Category 2 are not required.
Fee: AUD $56
After completing the payment at the final step, an NPC Reference Number will be generated. Make sure to take a screenshot and save it. If you do not receive the email due to system issues or other reasons, you can use this reference number to make enquiries.
After that, you usually receive the receipt within a few hours, and in fast cases, the police check certificate can be issued within 1 day.
